Another year gone and now the dreaded 2012 looms, though seriously anyone who thinks the world is about to end may need a screwdriver to tighten a few screws.

I won NaNoWriMo! The novel is nowhere near finished but at least I hit over 50K words, that was something. Even if I may have been cheating just a little and converting a roleplay into novel form, but it counts. I haven't touched it in a while but I will finish it eventually, and then starts the job of editing it fully for the second, third and however many times it takes.

I haven't really had much time to do anything else what with working full time over christmas, which has actually been a lot of fun, especially in a book store. It would be perfect if not for the customers. Sadly though it was only temporary so now it's back to looking for something permanent and/or pays better. I hate job hunting.
Contemplating what to do with my wages, either saving up for another trip to America OR getting a new super duper computer. The computer may have to wait as America seems more fun right now.

I got a few cool things for Christmas, lots of books and  a Vintage Tea Party book full of ideas and recipes which I love. Enough chocolate to kill a small elephant as always too. I also got a lovely antique looking magnifying glass from the wonderful *Raini-Tempest, among other things.

Went to see Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows at the cinema and loved it, so much steampunky goodness.
